Petrobras Motor Sport Program

The Brazilian passion for motor sports is the energy that drives us to develop and test our products in the best way: on the competition tracks. Thus, we are present in large and diversified modalities of motor sport to offer the best solutions for all Brazilians.

Fuels used in the competitions are part of the Petrobras’ new generation products, which are more sustainable and aligned with our commitment to leading a fair energy transition. By adopting our fuels, competitions also reinforce their commitment to reducing carbon emissions.

Ancora Fórmula 4

Fórmula 4

Formula 4 It is the entry category into the world of motor sport endorsed by FIA (International Automobile Federation). The main purpose is to identify talents from the age of 15 for the global motor sport scenario. The competition gives the champion 12 of the 40 points required to obtain a Super License, a document issued by FIA that allows the driver to race in the Formula 1 World Championship. The current season has two girls among the 14 participants.

The Podium gasoline, the only carbon neutral fuel from production to consumption in the country, is the official fuel of the season. With a lower environmental impact, Podium fully offsets greenhouse gas emissions, from its extraction and production to final consumption.

Ancora Copa Truck

Truck Cup

The Truck Cup, one of the main competitions of motor sport in the country, is characterized by being a category that uses trucks. The modality has 36 trucks divided into Pro (more experienced) and Super categories, with 18 races in the season. Currently, as in F-4, there are 2 women in the grid.

Petrobras is the official supplier of the fuel used in the competition, Diesel R with a renewable portion, ensuring engine efficiency and reducing carbon emissions produced in the races.

Ancora Rally dos Sertões

Rally dos Sertões

The Rally dos Sertões is the biggest off-road race in the Brazilian motor sport. In addition of being a challenging and exciting competition in different conditions, it is a competition that serves as stage for a series of social and environmental actions. In line with Petrobras' decarbonization strategy, carbon credits earned at the Rally are transferred to forest protection projects, preservation and reforestation actions that generate sustainable energy.

The competition has Petrobras sponsorship, bringing Carbon Neutral Podium Gasoline as an official fuel, and reaches its fourth year with all carbon emissions neutralized. In this way, participants have access to high-quality fuel that, at the same time, brings with it such sustainability concern.
